- Location: 35,000ft between Denver & Houston

- Findings: What began as a simple 35mm survey of the land between Denver and Houston, turned into a an interesting lesson. In the early photographs, those shortly after takeoff in Denver, I was performing some pretty radical yoga in my seat to exclude the frame of the window. I was crafting pure images of the landscape. However, later into the flight I began to include elements of the Airbus’ window. To my surprise, it began to convey that eerie miracle of flight. The images portrayed a distinct and vast separation between myself (and you the viewer) and the land below.
